“He has made an incredible impact already in his time here, and his amazing numbers and records speak for themselves,” Begiristain added.
Since his arrival, Haaland has redefined goal-scoring standards in the Premier League. His debut season saw him claim the Golden Boot with a record 36 goals, becoming the fastest player in Premier League history to reach 50 goal involvements.
Haaland was also instrumental in Manchester City’s treble-winning campaign last season, which included lifting the Champions League trophy for the first time in the club’s history. His ability to deliver in crucial moments has earned him a revered place among fans and teammates alike.
Long-term vision for Manchester City
This unprecedented 9.5-year deal reflects Manchester City’s long-term vision of building a dynasty with Haaland at its core. The club has consistently demonstrated its commitment to retaining world-class talent, and Haaland’s extension is a testament to their ambition to dominate both domestic and international competitions for years to come.

The extension ensures that one of the world’s most sought-after players remains committed to the club, fortifying their position as a powerhouse in football.
With Haaland leading the charge, Manchester City’s ambitions to dominate the Premier League and maintain their status as a global footballing powerhouse are well within reach. As the club looks to build on its recent successes, Haaland’s long-term commitment symbolizes a bright and promising future.
